Out of Office is a single room on Av. da República in Costa da Caparica, 300 metres from the beach. Ten desks on a working day, work tables for 16 in a workshop, rows of chairs for 20 at a talk, and up to 50 people standing when the glass front opens onto the terrace.

What is in the room?
Three full height glass doors open the whole front to the terrace, and curtains split the room into two zones when a group needs them. The Focus Zone takes the calls so the main room stays quiet. A kitchenette with sink, glasses and crockery sits at the back, next to a toilet with a shower and the lockers.

The room is small on purpose, and the furniture moves. A working day keeps ten desks and a quiet floor. A workshop turns the same floor into work tables for 16. A talk becomes rows of chairs for 20. A launch opens the glass front, adds the terrace and holds up to 50 people standing.

What does it cost to use the room?
Coworking starts at €18 for a day pass, €69 for a week pass and €175 for a monthly pass. The same room as an event space starts at €350 for half a day and €600 for a full day. All prices include IVA.

What is around the room?
The room is on Av. da República in Costa da Caparica, 300 metres from the beach. Small Portuguese restaurants and cafés are a few minutes on foot. There is paid public parking nearby, we have no spaces of our own, and the entrance is step-free. The toilet is narrow and not fully wheelchair accessible, so tell us in advance and we will find a workaround.
